Continest Expands French Operations with First French Strategic Partner
PRESS RELEASE
Székesfehérvár, Hungary – 11 August 2026
Continest Technologies Plc.’s Rental division has reached a significant milestone in its European expansion strategy with the establishment of its first French Strategic Partner. The new partnership strengthens Continest’s local presence in France, enabling faster service, improved logistics, and greater accessibility for event organizers, sports organizations, and other customers seeking sustainable modular infrastructure solutions.
Following successful projects across Europe—including the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics—Continest continues to expand its international partner network and respond to growing demand for flexible, turnkey infrastructure solutions. Continest foldable container units are now present in nearly 30 countries, supporting major sporting events, festivals, commercial projects, defence applications, and humanitarian initiatives worldwide.
The new French Strategic Partner brings Continest’s innovative foldable container solutions closer to local customers while reducing logistical complexity and improving project responsiveness. Both Continest’s multifunctional CN20 Office units and CN20 Retail units, specifically designed to support event merchandising and commercial operations, are now available through the French partner network.
A key contributor to establishing the partnership is Christophe Rousseau, a recognized expert in the international sports and events industry. Formerly a senior executive at Legends Global, Rousseau has worked with Continest on major projects and now leads the French partner operation through his own company, Troisieme Ligne.
“Establishing our French Strategic Partner is the next step in a relationship that has developed over several years. Continest’s first major projects in France included the 2023 Rugby World Cup and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where we supported Arena Group with 52 CN20 Retail units. These experiences demonstrated the importance of having strong local capabilities. Our goal is not only to support individual projects, but to build a long-term presence in France that allows us to serve customers faster, more flexibly, and with a higher level of service,” said Tamas Turza, Deputy Director, Revenue at Continest Technologies Plc.
The value of the new French base was demonstrated within its first months of operation. Continest units from the local fleet were deployed at the Paris stage of the Tour de France, while four additional CN20 Retail units supported summer events at Lyon Stadium. Through strategic cooperation with SOFEMA, a company active in the defence sector, Continest now has a total of 13 foldable units available in France.
“Event organizers are increasingly looking for solutions that combine operational efficiency with sustainability. Continest’s innovative technology, combined with local support, provides a strong advantage for customers who want reliable infrastructure while meeting their sustainability objectives. Integrating Continest solutions into our portfolio was a natural strategic decision,” said Christophe Rousseau, founder of Troisieme Ligne.
The establishment of the French Strategic Partner supports Continest’s broader strategy of international growth through strong local partnerships and customer-focused service networks.
“By creating a local infrastructure in France, we are taking another important step toward bringing Continest closer to our customers and strengthening our position across Western Europe,” said Vidor Kis-Marton, CEO of Continest Technologies Plc.
