PRESS RELEASE
Budapest / Székesfehérvár, Hungary – September 25, 2025
Continest Technologies Plc. successfully hosted its second Continest Defence Industry Days conference at its manufacturing facility in Székesfehérvár, welcoming over 100 invited guests from 15 countries. Among the attendees were diplomatic and military representatives, NATO officials, and leading figures from the defence and security industries.
The two-day event was designed to foster open professional dialogue and strengthen cooperation among key players in the defence sector, while also showcasing Continest’s latest innovations and strategic partnerships.
The conference was honored by the presence of H.E. Fegyir Sándor, Ambassador of Ukraine to Hungary, and Major General Tibor Králik, Commander of the NATO MNDC.
“Continest Defence Industry Days is more than just an industry gathering — we aim to build a tradition where we can collectively address future challenges and shape shared solutions,” said Vidor Kis-Márton, CEO of Continest Technologies, in his opening remarks.
Innovation and Collaboration at the Forefront
The program featured expert presentations, factory tours, thematic corporate showcases, and several networking opportunities.
For the first time, guests were able to view Continest’s newest product — a prototype of an aluminum-framed foldable container unit, developed for the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency’s (MSB) rescEU shelter programme.
A key highlight was the introduction of the Continest Defence Lab, a wholly owned subsidiary of Continest Technologies, established to collaborate specifically with governmental, international, and humanitarian organizations. Its mission is to support the B2G sector with cutting-edge R&D and modular solutions tailored to real-world operational needs.
On the closing day, several attendees travelled to Budapest to view a unique modular military shooting container, developed jointly by Continest and the Hungarian Defence Forces Modernization Institute — a prime example of practical defence technology integration.
Continest continues to build strong strategic alliances with partners such as LoXoLock, Pureco, and Finnish company Kenno Tech, jointly developing advanced protection solutions for military and humanitarian applications.
